Bushfires are an accepted way of life in Australia but the latest one has us ALL horrified. This is the worst natural disaster Australia has suffered and it will take a long time to recover.
Like other's, i want to do something to help, somthing more than just giving money of which i have little spare. Many young Tradesmen i have spoken to are thinking of giving up work for a month and going to VIC for a month to use their skills to help re-building when its needed.
My partner works for a hardware company and is trying to organise as much building materials etc that can be donated as possible............think excess toilets, doors, pipes, tiles, wood, concrete etc
I want to help too..........Handmade Help.
I have tons of fabric and lots of ideas for practical items i can make, i want to make comforting items for kids and adults. Many thanks to the driving forces behind the "Handmade Help" fund i wouldn't have known what to do without your help. I will be posting some items your way soon Pip.
