ETSY Australia Photography Workshop

A few weeks back I was invited to participate in a photography workshop with ETSY Australia. I was totally excited to have been one of the lucky sellers to have been chosen for this opportunity and have been busting to share the results with you all since then.

Myself and about 10 other store holders were invited to bring all our products and camera gear to "The School" to be guided by fabulous photographer and fellow Etsian Heidi Adnum in capturing beautiful new images to upload to our stores. What's more this was offered to us all completely for free!!!!

I hadn't realised how much effort ETSY put into to supporting local sellers and I can't thank them enough for the chance to join in and the extra motivation this has given me!

We all had the chance to shoot our photos in the most amazing bright studio while Heidi gave us each individual feedback and advice on our photography and how best to use our cameras.

Not only was I blown away by the results (even with my AWFUL point and shoot) but it was so exciting to be able to see the incredible creations that all the other ETSY sellers had created! Beautiful screen print fabrics, incredible leather bags, gorgeous hand embroidered cushions and quirky leather bunting and tapestry pillows to name just a few.

I was so excited when I got home that despite being completely exhausted I ran straight to my computer and spent the night editing and uploading my pics.

I'm so pleased with how my store looks now and I hope you all love it too!
